Monday was a range day, and I have to admit I wasn't as happy with the cheapo red dot this time. Couldn't seem to hold a zero worth anything (and before you go blaming the shooter, I was using sandbags to help me out, and shooting 1/2" groups with my .243 that day.) To remedy that, I just ordered a new one (Bushnell TRS, supposed to be darn close to an Aimpoint Micro for 1/5 the money), and figured as long as I'm spending money, I might as well order a ton of other "man-Barbie" stuff - pics probably next week sometime

    Interim Update!

So, I got most of what I ordered and interim pics are below. There are a few things still back-ordered, most notably an EoTech XPS2 (changed my mind about the optic since my last post - also waiting on a tan Magpul pistol grip and AFG2 angled foregrip). Those things shipped today and should be here early next week - I'll give more pictures then (they'll also be higher quality - I'll use the real camera instead of the phone).
For now, I've got a UTG Pro 9" free-float quad rail handguard over a Troy low-profile gas block, a Magpul CTR stock and a Blackhawk sling mount back plate. I've still got the 1/2" riser and el-cheapo BSA red dot on there, but those will both be going away as soon as the EoTech arrives. Next purchase (a ways down the road) will be flip-up BUIS, probably the Troy Industries ones.

Rifle is looking sharp Doc, lovin the two tone and I like your optics choice as well. I think the 3X magnifier is an awesome addition to the EO Tech though as you get up close and far out in one setup. I also like your foregrip choice, I've never tried one but the magpul angled fore grip just looks so comfortable.

Cannot wait to see the new picks
